- Yes, indeed. There has been a commercial X11R4 implementation for several
- years. More recently, Holger Kruse's AmiWin X11R6 implementation has
- appeared. There's a "tryware" version on the Aminet, but I recommend you
- get the registered version if you intend to do anything serious. A few
- applications have already appeared that take advantage of AmiWin, one of
- which is a Web browser called Chimera.

- Once you're running AmiWin over AmiTCP or AS225v2, you'll be ready to
- open X-windows for your favorite host applications. (I should warn you
- that the X protocol does a LOT of hand-shaking, so the faster your line,
- the better.)
